Food Safety and Handling

You agree to:

  • Follow all rules of conduct related to the use of Dinner Zen facilities during my assembly session.
  • NOT attend a session if I have, or have been exposed to any communicable diseases including cold, flu, etc. I will call Dinner Zen as soon as possible to reschedule my session or make arrangements to have my meals assembled for me.
  • Assume all responsibility for the transportation and proper storage of all the dinners I create at Dinner Zen.
  • Immediately freeze my Dinner Zen meals following the conclusion of my session at a temperature below 0 degrees F. Or, I will refrigerate all food items to a temperature below 40 degrees F. (Always use a refrigerator thermometer to make sure your refrigerator is set to the appropriate temperature.)
  • Thaw items in the refrigerator when dishes need to be thawed prior to cooking.
  • Always wash my hands with warm, soapy water before preparing and eating food.
  • Follow the cooking instructions as specified for each meal heating all dinners to the appropriate internal cooking temperature as instructed by the US FDA. Always use a meat thermometer to check the temperature and ensure doneness while maintaining taste and flavor.
  • Eat all dishes within 60 days to ensure maximum taste, quality and safety.
  • Release Dinner Zen from all claims, damages and causes of action or liability which may arise as a result of my preparation, storage and consumption of Dinner Zen meals except if solely due to the gross negligence of Dinner Zen.
